A Pink 'Snug'

This project aimed to create a tranquil snug room where the clients could retreat in the evenings after a busy day at work and time spent with their children. Understanding the need for a warm and cosy ambiance, we carefully selected colours and textures that would enhance the room's inviting atmosphere, not only in the evening, but for also entertaining throughout the day.

The space is bathed in natural light thanks to the east-facing position, which illuminates the area during the day. To balance this brightness with a cosy evening feel, we chose a beautiful, soft dusty pink for the walls. This gentle hue exudes warmth without overwhelming the senses, creating a perfect backdrop for relaxation.

We introduced texture and pattern through the use of soft furnishings to add visual interest and liveliness, allowing the room to be viewed and used from morning to night. A vibrant, patterned fabric was used for the piano stool, while cushions in complementary designs brought additional layers of texture and personality to the space.
