Hello
I’m Lorraine your friendly interior designer at Jacana Interior Design in Surrey.
​
My inspiration for our brand comes from the Jacana Bird found in tropics of Africa and Asia. This elegant bird is renowned for building beautiful nests, but with a unexpected edge! Instead of building their nest high in the trees like most birds, the Jacana does things differently and builds theirs at water level on a beautiful lily pad! Likewise here at Jacana Interiors we create beautiful homes with a unexpected edge to give that beautiful, unique & homely feel.

My Story
I’ve always had a passion for interiors from a very young age and enjoyed renovating several of my own homes before launching a career in interior design.
​
My other passion in life has always been to help others and I would love the opportunity to work with you to help bring your vision to life!
My career journey has taken me along a unique path where my past experience in healthcare has met my love for interior design. This transition has been driven by my desire to improve people’s lives by creating unique spaces that are seamlessly beautiful in colour, texture and pattern and have that homely feel.

Whether it's one room or several in your home, I will be with you every step of the way as I aim to create a homely environment that makes a positive difference in the way you feel and ultimately a place you won't want to leave.
